When you leave africa, as the plane lifts, you feel that more than leaving a
continent you’re leaving a state of mind. Whatever awaits you at the other end
of your journey will be of a different order of existence.

Yebobox.com is a South African shop that serves
South Africans in the UK and worldwide.

Yebobox was born so that people who have lived in South Africa at some stage in their lives and
have fond memories of that time can relive that nostalgia wherever they are in the world today with the delivery
of their South African luxuries, essentials and quintessentially South African gifts.

Established in 2020, YeboBox remains proudly family owned and run.

It all started with South African gift hampers and South African subscription boxes which provided a lifeline to may when Covid 19 closed down local shops .These gave us our name and provided the boxes "box" in YeboBox. Yebo is a Zulu word which loosely translated means Yes! It embodies the feeling of excitement that we want everyone to feels when receiving a delivery from us.

From humble beginnings with founders Matt and Tracey packing boxes in their homes, we have grown and now have teams and warehouses in the UK and South Africa and carry over 300 carefully selected South African products alongside our boxes.

The Founders

Founders Matt and Tracey were both born in Africa and spent their childhoods growing up in Zimbabwe and South Africa respectively. They have both seen a lot of change and lived and travelled all over the world but realise that Africa, its people, and its food are truly unique and hold a special place in your heart.

They know from experience that when you are far away from the blue skies, hot blazing sun, and afternoon thunderstorms fond memories can take you back to a time when life was simpler and easier.

Whilst many things change, they know that some things have not and will never change.
